What is online remote computer support?
Online computer support, also known as “remote” or “virtual” computer support, is the practice of having your computer worked on by one of our local technicians over the internet. With this type of computer repair, the technician can view your screen and operate the mouse and keyboard from a remote location.

The benefits of online computer support include:

  • Fast: Receive help instantly without having to wait for a tech to arrive at your location.
  • Convenient: No need to take a bulky computer to a shop or wait for an expensive in-home visit.
  • Affordable: Our costs are much lower than sending a tech to you. This lets us charge much more affordable prices for the same high-quality service you’d receive from an onsite technician.
Is it safe and secure?
Yes. When you connect to one of our certified local technicians, the connection is encrypted using a 128-bit key. This is the same high level of security used when transmitting sensitive information when using online banking or purchasing from a reputable retailer.

Also, you are in complete control of the remote session and can take control of the mouse anytime. You can also end the session immediately and we cannot have access to your computer unless you allow us to.

Who is doing the work?
The troubleshooting of your system is performed by one of our local technical experts. When you call us to request computer repair service, you will speak to one of our highly trained local technicians who will find out the details of your problem.
Can a technician access my computer after the work is done or without my permission?
No. The connection to our system must be initiated by you, the customer. Every time our experts access your computer, a program is temporarily installed to allow access. Once we are finished working, we log off the session and the program that allows access is completely removed from your computer.
Do you charge a fee to tell me what is wrong with my computer or IT equipment?
No, if you bring your equipment to our shop, one of our trained local technicians will diagnose it and give you a free estimate. If possible, we’ll take a look at it the same day.
How do I remove a virus?
It is best to let a professional remove the virus. We can check for other viruses, spyware, or malware and make suggestions on how to prevent future infections.
Will Microsoft call my house wanting to access my computer?
No. Never let anyone have remote access to your computer unless you have met them in person. These are common scams to ransom your computer for money.

Printer problem: Andrew is a very professional tech who knows how to not only assess the problem, but communicate the reason for it and the solution to fix it. These people are honest and don’t hesitate to be up front with what is reasonable and what is not. I will definitely use them again.
